Tonight Alan will be playing a wide mix of solo mandolin favorites from 'Somewhere my Love' to 'Whiskey before Breakfast' and everything in between.

Alan Epstein has been playing music since his college days in the early 1970's when his father bought him his first mandolin. Over the past 50 years, he has studied with some of the top mandolin players in the world, and has played in bluegrass bands in Pennsylvania, Colorado, Michigan and Upstate New York. Alan can currently be seen and heard as an occasional member of the Upstate Bluegrass Band during the race season at The Saratoga Race Track, teaching Wernick Method Bluegrass jamming classes and playing Strolling Mandolin gigs at various Farmers Markets in upstate New York and Vermont.
