General Policies:

  • A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking, and balance due at check-in.

  • Two night minimum stay.   

  • Check-in is at 3pm. Check-out is at 11am.

  • All guest rooms are non-smoking. A $150 cleaning fee will be charged if any evidence of smoking is found.

  • Room rates are based on the occupancy stated. Some room types can accommodate extra persons.  To request extra bedding, please let us know. A $50 nightly per-person fee will be charged upon arrival.

Quiet Hours:

  • As The Stewart House is a historic building, we ask that you are respectful of other guests and observe our quiet hours between 11pm and 9am.

Cancellation Policies:

  • Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to the check-in date receive a full refund minus the $50 Administrative Fee.

  • The Administrative Fee is charged per room. (Example: 2 room reservation = $100 Admin. Fee).

  • Cancellations made 13-8 days prior to check-in date, the 50% deposit becomes nonrefundable.

  • Cancellations made within a week of check-in are subject to the full cost of stay.

  • Partial cancellations within the two week or one week cancellation periods will follow our standard cancellation policy.

  • We sincerely appreciate you respecting our Cancellation Policy.  We are a small operation that simply cannot afford to have rooms sit vacant due to last minute cancellations. We often turn away other potential guests in order to honor your reservation.

Pet Policy:

  • Well behaved dogs and owners are allowed, with one dog per room. A $50 cleaning fee will be added to the bill. Dogs cannot be left unattended in the rooms.

Parking:

  • There is ample street parking along North Water Street and 2nd Street.

Buyout Policy

  • A complete hotel buyout requires a $500 non-refundable deposit.

  • Hotel buyouts require a minimum stay of two nights. Holiday weekend hotel buyouts require a minimum stay of three nights. 

  • The non-refundable deposit, payable by check or credit card; a credit card on file; and a signed contract committing to the full purchase of rooms is required to secure all hotel buyouts.
