Kenny Hohman and Lori Friday
Closet Classics are a husband and wife acoustic duo who are two thirds of the world-renowned rock band Super 400. Kenny Hohman and Lori Friday began playing music together in 1996, and have several studio albums and dozens of US and European tours under their belts. Kenny and Lori are 2/3 owners of the Troy Music Academy, and they also write and record music for television and film. The band is well known in the Northeast, where they enjoy playing as an acoustic duo in their downtime from writing and performing with Super 400.
The Closet Classics has a strong catalog of 1960's and 70's soul and popular music, sharing vocal duties and blending their voices in harmony. They also offer songs from the Blues tradition, which Hohman and Friday have played and loved for over 20 years, over thousands of miles together. The sound is honest and full of fre, the connection between the two musicians reflects the deep love they’ve shared, now in their third decade as a band. The duo play regularly at clubs, restaurants, tap rooms, weddings and private parties, all being ideal
settings for their sound. Lori and Kenny have an eight year old daughter, Ellie, and the three love reading, camping, art, traveling, and of course, playing music together!
