Athens Cultural Center Presents: Third Saturdays Free Film Series at the Riverfront Park with free popcorn provided by The Stewart House. Specialty cocktails will be available at the River Grill with a portion of proceeds going to the Athens Cultural Center.

Saturday 7/15/23 Showing: Nomadland

After much anticipation, the Athens Cultural Center is bringing back its Third Saturday’s Free Film Series with a stellar line up of films on its slate.

Mark your calendars for Chloe Zhao’s Oscar winning feature, Nomadland (2020) on Saturday, July 15th which will be screening in conjunction with the ACC’s Kindred Spirits exhibition. The film’s Producer Peter Spears will be in attendance to take part in a prescreening discussion.

Films in the Third Saturdays film series are scheduled to begin at sunset with rain dates set for the Sundays to follow.

The Third Saturdays Free Film Series was made possible with funds from a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered in Greene County by CREATE Council on the Arts. Further funding provided by the FairGame Grant.
